Southampton Premier League Players

Well I am currently in my first season as Southampton in March and I am confident of promotion to the Premier League and I was hoping you guys could give me some good young signings (anyone under 25 as I have a rule in which I will sell anyone over age 28). I am looking to strengthen in central defense and in my AML and AMR positions. English players are a plus but not really expected wouldn't mind some young Germans either.
 
I'd like to know that too.
I'll probably be promoted and wanna start to think obout building the team to the Premier league.
 
I've gotten Kyle Bartley from Arsenal on the cheap before - he was transfer listed though... May not happen every time.
 
I will definitely look for Bartley, he played great for me at Wolfsburg.
 
David Bentley, Jonathan Woodgate, Craig Dawson, Vertoghen, Adam Johnson, Hleb, Verratti, Carlos Fierro, James Rodriguez.

All quality players i picked up as cheap as chips. Must have been a bug or something, my 1st time in the premiership for my second season and i got some **** hot free transfers. Talking Bosingwa, Rene Adler, Chamakh, Jermain Jenas

Vertoghen, Adam Johnson and Rene Adler really signed for Southampton?
If I can get them for my first season in EPL it would be awesome.

btw, how much is the transfer budget when you are propoted with Southampton?

Its my first EPL season as well and I couldnt get of those players.
You get 6 million for avoiding relagation, upto 8 million I think for a top 4 finish

I did get Yanga Mbiwa for 8 million, Vertoghen would have signed for about a million more but he wanted a lot higher wages and sign on, and Yanga can cover all across the back as well

I got Vass, Adam, for 1.9m, Hoilett, Junior for 4 million and Sidney Sam for 2 million.
What I found was as it got nearer to the season start, certain targets suddenly become available and \or cheaper.
Like Adam Vass was near 8 million when I first scouted him and wasnt interested, but later on all that changed.

I still couldnt sign any of the well known strikers like Doumbia etc, so I'm stuck with Darwin Quintero and Sanago. I did get Niang for 1.2 million, close to deadline day after initally having no interest!
 
Bumping this - I'm in the same boat.

I pulled off some good transfers, but now I'm in a position where I need someone to cover both AMR and AML, preferable someone GOOD who is naturally AMR. I've got a transfer budget of £7mil and wages aren't a problem. I've been trying to sign Oscar from Internacional but the transfer fee is going to be too much.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm not too good with scouting, so if someone could tell me a random player who plays in South Africa or Germany or something and won't cost the earth I'd be very grateful.

Got Tim Krul in goal for £3.1mil, as well...

I believe my transfer budget was something like 9m. Rene Adler was a free agent so i guess i was pretty lucky to get him. Adam Johnson was purchased for 2.3m and Vertoghen was 1.9m from Ajax. This did somewhat take a large proportion from my wage budget, but hey ho'.. finishing 6th (yes 1 point from from 5th) in my first encounter in the PL.

Adam Johnson is excellent on both wings, and like ive mentioned, he can be picked up on the cheap due to him being out of favor at Man City.

Other guys are decent you could look at out Scott Sinclair, Plasil, Marko Devic, Roy Beerens, Sulejmani etc.

My transfer budget was around 7-8 million. But I got 20 Million from the board in january, probaly 'cause I was doing pretty well staying always between 5th and 9th and my target when season begun was to avoid relegation and it was changed to finish mid-table. Now I'm 6th and I am in the Carling Cup Final.

In the january window I bought Kara, Vorsah and Chris Gunter to improve my defence 'cause it was pretty weak. also got Cairney to the mid. Didn't bring anyone to the Attack because I'm doing pretty well on the ofensiva side with the third best attack in the league.

I got Junior Hoilett for £4.5mil, who is excellent. I'm happy.
