Soviet Union + Yugoslavia + Great Britain + Czechoslovakia

Hi, new here!

The 4 nations I have mentioned in my title I wish to enable in the game, I would like the Soviet Union to absorb Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, kazakhstan etc into 1 nation, 1 league pyramid, 1 national team.
I'd like to do this to Great Britain etc as well.

I think I'm a bit of a noob to modding this game but I did however figure out how to enable the German and Japanese national teams, so I have potential and am a quick learner.

So what I'm getting at is can someone please tell me If this is possible and if so how do I go about accomplishing this, Any help will be much appreciated.

For unpatched Football Manager 2011 ! Sorry for double posting.

OK, so far I have 1 - enabled editing continents and ability to add nations in the editor.

2 - Started changing the cities's and clubs's nationalities from russian to soviet.

Is this the right way to go? Since this is alot of work, I don't mind just don't want it to be moot, am I going in the right direction?

Could someone please show me some divine light.
