I've been managing Fulham for a while now I'm in my 3rd season back in the prem but can't seem to stop man utd or mata I have a really good side and should be challenging for the title this year but away results against these won't help I play a 4-3-3 with an anchor and a line front man anyone managed to best these and stop mata

Sorry to say that playing at Old Trafford is one of the toughest matches in all of Football Manager. Sometime you just have to take your lumps and move on. I think they make it twice as hard to play at Man United away as any other game. The good news is that you can lose at Old Trafford and still win 25+ games in the season and win the Premier League if your side is quality and your tactics are solid. Good luck! View attachment 310970 That being said, your best shot is probably to park the bus with a formation that includes a DM, switch to a counter mentality in the first half in the hopes of punishing Man U for their aggression. Then when you have the lead switch to a defensive or contain mentality while wasting as much time as possible and hold on for dear life!
