** Please note that this tactic was made on a fantasy save I have done with Brighton (not superstars like Messi etc, but good youth players). Whilst I should be smashing the Championship games, its the results against the big boys in the Cups that has made me realise this is a good tactic **
Spearhead Longbow Tactic

Version 1: HERE
If you are after a defensively solid tactic, then look away now. This is a very attacking tactic, which creates lots of chances and gives high amounts of possession. There will be times where you concede several chances, but you should outscore your opponents.
The tactic almost splits itself into two teams of five, but the two midfielders push further forward to join attacks, and the the wingers do track back also resulting in seven at the back. The Deep-lying forwards also play a part in the defensive work.

The Positions
Goalkeeper: Good at One v Ones. There will be occasions where your defence will be exposed, and having a keeper who is good at one v ones will help massively.
Central Defenders: Nothing too special here. Good pace and aerial ability.
Defensive Midfielder: Pace, and lots of it. He will drop back at times to make a back 4, but will also look to beak forward and support attacks.
Central Midfielder: Again lots of pace is a real bonus. Good passing as well.
Wingers: Good pace, dribbling and crossing ability. The will also need good finishing ability as they get in the box when the ball is on the opposite side of the pitch.
PPMs: Runs with ball down left/right, Knocks ball past opponent
Deep Lying Forwards: Great dribbling and passing ability. These two will be will be the primary creators in the squad, coming deep to get the ball, dribbling up-field and playing a through ball to the advanced forward.
PPMs: Comes deep to collect ball, Plays one-twos, Dribbles down the centre
Advanced Forward: This is your primary goalscorer. He needs to have good pace and finishing ability. Sitting on the shoulder of the last man, but also has good passing ability.
PPMs: Looks to beat the offside trap, Plays one-twos
Training & OIs
Ensure you get your players learning the PPMs as soon as you can if they do not already know them. In terms of team training I have my on team cohesion on high for pre-season, and then dropped it to low once the season started to allow the players to work on their individual training.
I leave all OIs to the assistant.
Feedback
Please feel free to provide any feedback or ask any questions. If you also think you have a way of improving the tactic feel free to make any suggestions. I am looking for lots of people to test this tactic as its only been tested with one team so far.
