Sporting CP!

I am starting a new season as Sporting CP, in Portugal. The transfer budget is small, just under £4 million, and through payments over time, I have managed to snap up Diego Buonanotte. I want to play him on the left wing, as Sporting's central midfield area is very strong. Does anyone know any cheap defenders worth signing? The defence is weak, and there is no real leader in the back line. Thanks.

Thanks mate, I've just signed Joao Paulo from Fluminense, so I'm broke now... I should be getting money in for a couple of worse players, so I will have a go at signing Salgado when I can!

what version you using, because im on a sporting cp game at the moment and if you using the v.6 version you can get Moretti for free. Who is truely great, im in my 2nd season now and he is worth 6m
