Spotting the best Regens

Hello lads, don't post too often on here, just need some help.
I'm currently in the process of scouting every single Youth Intake, and adding the 4 and a half/ 5 star potential ability regens to a shortlist. - what sort of attributes am I looking for in a regen? how can I identify the next world class players early doors. cheers
 
Have a look on YouTube there are several guides. Don't rely on stars too much look at the actual figures and personality of the kid
 
Care to share any links? Whatever I seem to search I always just find guides on how to scout them i.e World > Transfers > Youth Intake, and not what I'm actually looking for!
 
If you use FMRTE

If you don't use FMRTE
Wait for september in the second season. That's when brazilian regens show up and they are usually the best + there's a lot of them. Go to each first-division brazilian team's youth intake in the transfer center, and scout the one who look best ( the one already scouted by your staff are usually good since they thought the same ).
For other nation regens, you should look into the best academies from each country . You cand find those online. Some examples are Barcelona, Valencia, SL Benfica, Sporting Lisabon, Nice, Saint Ettiene, Bayern, Dortmund, Stuttgart, PSG, Man City, Chelsea, Southampton, Napoli, Anderlecht, Genk, U Cluj, UTA, Slovan Liberec, etc
