Squad Rules Editing

Hey there! (apologies if this has already been posted)

So here's my query: How can I edit squad rules of different leagues in FM 2011? If it is through the game's editor: where is this hidden extra? - if not, is it through writing a .xml file?

you have to go into the XML file to set whichever leagues you wish to change rules for to 'false'

Thanks Triv, but that only half-answers my question =D
now that I can get rid of them, how could I dig in deeper to add custom rules such as number of foreign players, number of national players, etc? =)

if you follow the guide in Carine's OP and get to the point where you're in the editor you will be able to change/add/remove the rules you mentioned
