Stacks of chances, but Sturridge and Suarez simply cannot score.

Hey guys,

I'm in my first season with Liverpool, 13 games in, currently sitting in 5th. I made no signings in the transfer window so the team is as it was, the teams performing very well (especially defensively) and I'm scoring plenty of goals, the only problem being that my midfield and defence are scoring all my goals.

Gerrard, Henderson and Aspas are bagging tons, Agger has 5 to his name somehow, but my strikers simply cannot score. Sturridge has started every game and Suarez has since his ban expired, and the pair have one goal a piece.

Its not a case of them not getting chances either, both miss several sitters and bags of other chances each game and I see Suarez sky one on ones on a gamely basis. He also seems unable of getting his shots to go within 5 yards of the goal frame, they go high and wide every time.

Its not the biggest issue as the rest of my team scores plenty of goals at the minute but I'm totally perplexed as to the awful form of Suarez and Sturridge.

Any help would be much appreciated!

What formation you using?
I had Sturridge as a complete forward and Suarez on the wing as an Inside Forward, scores over 50 goals between them.

My main two are 4-1-2-1-2, and 4-2-2-2, both are pretty maxed out in terms of familiarity.

As I said, they have stacks of chances, but screw them all up, Suarez being especially bad for this, he puts most of his shots miles wide or over.

I honestly think this is a glitch because Suarez has missed way too many one on ones with me

I sold sturridge cause he never work ball into box always toke long shots and missed by miles tried training him to stop but failed. He got 2 goals in season so I got ride of him and got timo Werner that kid is amazing.

Just had Suarez and Sturridge score 41 goals between them with 24 assists. Sturridge as a DLF support and Suarez behind him as a Treq.

I play a 4-2-3-1 (4-5-1)
play Sturridge as RW inside forward attack and set him to shoot less.
play Suarez up front on his own as CF support with roam from position, this seems to be working for me!
