Stadium named after you?

Sorry if it's already been mentioned before, I'm Aldershot town currently in prem I have won prem 3 years in a row fa cup 3 times and European cup. And I still have a capacity of only 14000, iv asked for a new stadium and there currently 'planning' it, i was just wondering what you have to do to get a stadium named after you? Thanks in advance
 
I built a new stadium with Tottenham and it called it Tottenham Stadium, or something similar, so it doesn't always name it after a legend. I was only an Icon when it was being built.
 
i had one for qpr, after 8 seasons, they will announce the name at a random time, planning just means your going to get one

you become legend after at least 6 seasons in my experience
 
Often it does just go for the team name even when you have got a legend, like 'Ipswich Stadium' (which I've had twice) instead of something with Robson. The few times I've seen and recognized a legend named stadium it's an already established one like Zola for Chelsea and Primus for Portsmouth.
 
In my old save my atlethic board named the stadium Muniain Stadium. Dont know if this was after me or Iker as both had same surname.
 
Got one named after me (Jienjitlert Stadium) in a Liverpool save. It was finished in around 2020 something though and I won the title on almost every year I managed (which was about 10 years). Oh and I was already a Liverpool legend by the time the stadium finished.

It's been planning since start of season and says finished at end of season, but it doesn't say on facilities 'moving to x arena' or anything like I've seen on previous games? And does it mean it will be built at end of season or will it then take a further year?
 
God **** it. I named myself ***** at the start and now Old Trafford is named ***** Park.

They are planning it till the end of the season, after that they will start the building, so you aren't moving yet to a new arena (:
 
Ah thank you. It better go through and it better not come to end of season and they've ran out of money!! Also does anyone know what the capacity of new ground are usually?
 
Best one Ive seen one here was Man U's new stadium named after Park - Park Park
 
your capacity depends on what youve got now, but in my experience i had no problems expanding as much as i wanted, there was no set cap like with other stadiums
