Stadium - No space!

Right im sorry if there is another thread for this however i cant find one so here i go...
Basically im in 2013 of my Liverpool game and have won everything, however i feel Anfield isn't big enough for my expectations so i decided an expansion was in order. BUT when i requested one the board said 'the council will never allow planning permission due to a lack of space.' Is there anyway I can get round this without re-starting?

I'm having exactly the same issue, look forward to the ansers on this one.....
 
If you finances are in good order then you'll likely get a new stadium built. Sadly because you're Liverpool you have loan debts to repay until 2019 so until that's paid off you're stuck where you are. Unless you get some new owners of course.
 
Oh good grief, so i either need a rich new chairman or wait till 2019 lool?!

Yup, so basicly you're being punished for having a good financial control over Liverpool. The only people who have posted here who have been taken over have been in debt.

I'm in 2016 with Liverpool at the moment and even with a net transfer spend of £(131m), 5 league titles, and 16 cup wins, my balance has never been over £100m because of the £3m p/m loan payments.

*edit* About the repayments, none that I know of.

Well i am 4 league wins, 11 cup wins, and a net spend of £80m! and its so frustrating! :(oh well i suppose i had better stick at it. Thanks

You could cheat :(
download the real time editor, wipe off your debts or expand the stadium immediately at no cost.

I will probably get slated off people for this message lol

I only attempted real time editor to alter the price of my tickets but this option aint available on real time editor, apart from this i have never attempted to cheat

Well i don't even know what the real time editor is!!! So i wouldn't have a clue to use it anyway lol

you can basically edit most of the game as you play it, change attributes, heal some injuries, give yourself an extra million or so, edit your profil or in your case expand the stadium. the ediotr that comes with the game only allows you to change things before the game.

Fingers crossed then, as apparently the chairman wants to step aside on my game. And I'll get some megabuck owner with more money than sense

Fingers crossed he wants me as manager...
 
you will have a problem if they build a new stadium, for example, in an old save with birmingham in 9.1 patch, they start to build a new stadium, it cost 350M, so i had a debt of 2M per month for 20 Years

Lucky you! in 2010 i had a board change, but it wasnt a new investor, it was someone from the board becoming chairman! and now unfortunately he 'loves the club' Now im just hoping that drastically changes! Anyway, good luck with yours, what year are you in?
 
I'm just about to start my second season, hopefully will have the same success as the season before (prem and CL) plus bring a few more younsters through. I don't think I need to buy for a few more years - unless someone whos a one off pops up then I'll be splashing the cash.

Just realised what I wrote, I'm HOPING I'll get some megabuck owner oops! If he wants me out I'll be a little miffed....

Yeah mine was the same as you bigal, just got another board member takeover as chairman with no in-flux of cash.
 
Extremely irritating isn't it Lee?! Have you had any luck with a new chairman since?

Go to team; finances; and its there on the summary
 
Beloved United?! All I can say is I only hope that we beat you to the title :P But yea good luck with your rich oil tycoon lol, im repaying till 2019 unfortunately...
