Often on the staff advice screen your scouts will recommend players to sign, unrelated to their scouting assignments. Many of my scouts are Brazilian and often recommend some very talented regens, who are mostly always Brazilian as well. As a result I have signed numerous Brazilian wonderkids waiting to join my club once they turn 18.The problem with this is I am Ajax, and need homegrown players for the future. If I sign a bunch of Dutch scouts, or scouts highly familiar Holland, will they start recommending random Dutch wonderkids?

Scout's nationality doesn't matter, it's their scouting knowledge that's important. Pauleta at PSG for example, has a full bar when it comes to Spain, Portugal and France; so he's likely to find the best players in those nations. If I was to send him to Argentina however, he probably wouldn't find anyone (excluding obvious stars like Riquelme) because his knowledge for that nation is minimal.

What you should do is find out what Dutch clubs have the best Youth Facilities and Recruitment Network, and get your best scout to watch them. In all honesty though, I think Ajax produce the best Dutch regens.

its scouting knowlege that is important. nationality will help broaden your clubs scouting rage, but wont help much. like i could have a african scout, which i have, wiht a good PA CA judger, and he will give back reports of great african regens, but gives a vague report on a European player.

in ur case, get some dutch scouts wiht a good ca/pa judging ability, and let them scout holland ofr sometime, like 3 months straight.

Make your Brazillian scouts scout in Holland. It's incredible how fast they gain knowledge of a country.
