staff responsibilities and training

hi i had my assistant manager doing training and noticed some of my players werent happy with training they wasnt doing enough they said. how do i sort that out? do i have to take assistant manager off doing it and do it my self? or can i sort it out with him doing it? does getting a better assistant manager help will they do a better job or do they more or less do the same stuff? how do i make the players happy again or doesnt it matter?
