I'm playing my first season with Sunderland, in the winter transfer window I signed two future stars in Connor Wickham and Romelu Lukaku, it appears that both of these players have serious stamina issues. My question is, is this something that should resolve as the players mature or more likely something i need to fix through coaching? I haven't had chance to pre-season either of them due to still being in my first season, but I have set both of them to stamina training focus. Any help would be gratefully received!
 
Is your workload high on your training schedule, if so this may be the reason.
Also what are the players stamina and natural fitness attributes?
 
also notice that younger players will get tired faster than fully developed players.
 
Nah, they are both on light/medium workloads. Romelu's natural fitness is 11 and stamina is 7 and Connor's is 10 and 7.

Yeah, I fully understand that, what I'm looking for are the most efficient methods of improvement....
