Sorry if this problem and hopefully solution is located somewhere else but I don't really know my way around.
I have installed fm12 and the directx and microsoft.net files, but when I go to start the game up I get the error saying 'error: Unable to find some essential data. Please ensure that the game is installed correctly. If the problem persists, please contact technical support.' or I get 'The program can't start because steam_api.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.'
I have tried installing the game with steam, without steam, installed it with and then uninstalled steam and also installed fm12 and then downloading steam. I have tried loading the game up from steam but I get the same issue.
