Hi,

Thinking of starting a new Portsmouth save and wanted to ask about possible signings??

Possibly need: RB, CB, CAM, LAM.

I am open to other suggestions aswell.

Thanks

Hi im currently in a Portsmouth save and having great success with Loan players. Kwesi Appiah and Mason Bennett are killing it and i got a few good free transfers..... Xavier Annunziata and Miguel Comminges.

i agree about appiah i've got him on loan he's a goal machine.. i was using jed wallace as a amr to no success so put him as amc as advanced play maker and he is playing at a 9 rating most games, unreal! went from a leading league 1 player to a decent prem player and i'm still in the first season

Agree with Mason Bennett, Loaned him first season in January for Gateshead in the conference premiership and extended his loan for the following season, Won league 2 and just extended his loan again for league 1, Other players i loaned in league 2.

Alex Pritchard - Spurs - He will be out on loan first season but snap him up second season on loan, Hes a set piece specialist 33 asssists and chipped in with 18 goals can play AML/C/R which helps too, Contract runs out at the end of second season too so you can snap him up for free.

Devante Cole - Man City - Like Bennett he has pace to burn which at lower leagues is massive, He can play AMR/ST so if you want to use inside forwards its a bonus.

Adam Campbell - Newcastle - On loan at Gateshead first season but hes a monster at that level, 47 goals first season, 43 goals in league 2, Like Bennett and Cole his loan was extended.

Gedion Zelalem - Arsenal - Amazing MC/AMC sign in January of first season and extended his loan into second season, Sadly couldnt extend his loan again as Norwich signed him from Arsenal for 3.6m.

Gael Bigirimana - Newcastle - Only managed to get him on loan for second season but he was amazing along side Zelalem in midfield, Sadly Newcastle wouldnt loan him back to me the following season.

John Swift - Chelsea - Was mainly used as backup to the other two in midfield but if i had given him more games he would have been as good maybe better than Bigirimana, Scored a few goals and managed to win goal of the season.

Bennett, Cole, Pritchard and Campbell would be my recommmended signings as goals win you games and Bennett/Cole/Campbell are good championship strikers with Campbell considered a good striker for premiership teams, They all have alot of pace which will give you the fastest attack in the league and with Pritchard you'll add 10-20 goals a season just from set pieces.

They lead me to back to back promotions and just starting in league 1 and i've been made 5-1 favorites to win the league, Not sure how i've been made favorites i think my team is weaker than it was in league 2 since i've been unable to get my main CM's back on loan but we will see how it goes.

Try Andreas Pereira from Man Utd, and they have a few good defenders for league 2 and league 1, tyler blackett springs to mind

I signed Clough from Bolton on loan for the season. Only played about 6/7 games and hes already scored about 10 goals!

Valentin Glokaj, Derby reject has played for my Wycombe side all the way from League 2 to Premier League. His true level is somewhere in League1-Championship but was an absolute rock in League 2.
