Is there a way of starting the game halfway through the season without simply just going on holiday until then, every other game allowed you to start in 2015 with the leagues halfway through the season.

Would love this in FM16. Just an updated database after the january window with current league positions. That way you can take over real life strugglers and keep them up etc. and would be much better than the current challenges mode.

Make sure you tick Iceland at the beginning, so when it asks you when to start your game, click "Iceland January 2015" and you'll start the game January 20th 2015.

Could just choose the brazilian league, since it allows you to start in december.
Of course there's another option, by using this database you'll start december 24th the real life results.

Thanks, my game doesn't seem to be allowing me to start beyond August 2014. It comes up with Finland and Brazil for 2013 but not to start in December 2014/January 2015, just trying the real life update but that seems to be doing the same. Must be something I'm doing along the way somewhere.
