Steam - Error

Hi,

When i try to play fm12 my game tries to log into steam, howerever a message keeps coming up saying...could not connect to steam network. it is not an internet problem. Has anyone else had this? When i buy a game i want to be able to play it whenever i want!!!!

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
