Steam Issues

Hi guys, Im just wondering if anybody else has had issues with steam the past week or 2?

I havnt been able to add new friends and cant open up messages to anybody.

Its beginning to annoy me as people can write to me in chat however I cant start conversation unless somebody else writes to me first.

Anybody got this before and have a solution?

Could be a preferences problem, I've never had that issue though and i've been using steam since 06! - Some times if it hasn't updated properly something isn't quite working. ensure that you have the newest and best steam version running

Yeah I have it updated to latest and I have steam the past 2 years. Its only recently it messed up on me. And iv never changed preferences. Really bugging me now

Strange one that. I'd give it a while and see what happens-could be a glitch. Though I haven't had that happen to me before admittedly. Sounds like nothing more than an annoying glitch. Might be worth asking someone in tech support
