Steam Not Updating To FM To 11.1.1

For some reason, Steam won't update Football Manager 2011 to 11.1.1

I've tried downloading and installing the patch from the official site, but it doesn't work.

My Steam is set to 'Automatically update games'. :O

Why have I not got the update? :S

EDIT: Assuming you don't follow the link for one reason or another, here's an answer:

I had similar problems on Steam, i ended up re-installing the game to get it although ive since been ttold there is an easier way.

The easy way on steam will be right click on the game "Properties" => go to "Local Files" Tab => click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache".


Dont know if this works so let me know

Whatever you do;

never ever manually download if you install by steam, best way to ruin your game
