On the game, click game status, what version does it say there?

Wondered the same, atm it doesnt matter since I play on an old save, but checked when starting a new game that the version is 11.1.0 =/

The update will work on an old save as long as its 11.1

Alot of Steam users including me have had problems with this fix.

Try this:

Open up steam. Go to your games library, right click on FM2011 then click "Properties"> then go to "Local Files" Tab > then click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache".

Where is it saying 11.1.0? it will still say that when you start a new game but should say 11.1.1 on your game status.

I re-installed the game to get it. Delete local content on steam then re-install. Everything you have saved on the game (tactics, game saves, skins, facepacks etc) will be fine and stiil there when you play again.

Check the version on this screen, this is the screen that will tel you if its on or not not the start screen.

Yeh says 11.1.1 ingame but not if you start a new one, so I guess I have it ^^ Thanks for the assistance Woody =)

It wont say 11.1.1 at the start of a new game as the 11.1.1 hotfix didnt make any database changes, the start screen chooses a databse, which is still 11.1.0

I started my saved game before 11.1.1 was released so does the new patch make any changes to my saved game?

Just a few minor bugs sorted, no match engine or database fixes made.

Yes, as said in many other threads asking this question, patches which fix bugs are save game compatible.
