what the point of buying a game that i can only play when the vendors decides to get decent servers.

i got 90mins worth of playing time before the missus gets back these steam people better get it sorted QUICK!!!
 
It's because the new patch is out and they're all updating.... chill out man!!!!
 
No he's right, im pretty ****** to. I payed good money for the game, now i can't play because steam can't handle the request, while i don't want to update yet. The game won't start untill it's updated. If you choose to work this way, than you have to make sure you can handle it right???
 
It won't take long to update, plus with the new patch hopefully ALL the bugs and glitches will have been fixed to make it more enjoyable!

I honestly don't see the problem???

the patch is gonig to come why cant you just rest a little bit and play fm when the patch is out?

i havent been fm for days been waiting for the patch to come for ages.

ive only been on fm to take pics and etc.
 
It's fine you got all day to play, i don't. Work 11 hours a day and have a wife and child. So my only hour off fun is gone:P.

I ain't mad or something, but with more games these days, you pay much for them and with all the anti-pirating programs and things i get punished for legally buying the game.

And besides that, this is the 3rd patch and we all hope it fixes all the bugs ingame?? Shouldn't that be done at release day??

Mine's been going for 20 mins or so and is saying 1hr 7mins left.... Trust me tho, it'll be worth it!!!!

No can't say their clock is swiss made;) but that kid is really fun, but then again he is german and they can get mad pretty good:)
 
To launch the game without using steam go

My computer>Local Disc (C: ) >Program Files>Steam>SteamApps>Common>Football Manager 2009>fm

You can also create a shortcut so you never have to use steam again

it is a bit ridiculous after the mess on launch day was you still cant play the game when you want to

How come everyone seems to have went for the Steam option, whats wrong with uniloc? Doesnt require you to instal another program so I thought thats what everyone would go for...or maybe its just ebcuase theres no problems with uniloc
 
i went for uniloc aswel - no bother for me - i can stil play whilst downloading the patch!
