Stop Full Backs/Wing Back from cutting inside!!!

Has anyone noticed how often your FB/WGB gets into a good position to cross the ball, but then decides to cut inside doing a terrible impression of Lionel Messi!!!

I am looking to get FM 2014 but if this issue is still happening, it will put me off.
 
switch the "wide play style" to "hug touchline", but also pay attention to their PPM. I have Fabio who has "Cut Inside" PPM. even though I switch his wide style to "hug touchline", he keeps cutting inside. But that doesn't happen to Rafael, whose PPM is "hugging touchline" and his wide style is also "hug touchline".
