I left the stadium happy. I was sad while leaving the stadium because i was just fired from Rapid Fetesti- a team from the 4th league. They fired me because i was poor and i couldn't pay "the taxex" to the chairman. I was wondering what i was going to do to support myself. In my heart i knew i must do something to became rich and conquer the heart of my choosen girl. She was so nice...but so rich in the same time. But I knew she is the one from me. I met her...but that was another story i thought. Now i must concentrate on doing money not on what my heart "thinks". I decided to rest for 1 or 2 days and then to look for a job. I was watching TV on one of the few TV channels I had. It was about tax increseas because of the economic crisis that hit us. Suddenly my telephone ranged. I responded quickly and discovered that on the other side of the line it was Gica Popescu, one of Romania's greatest players alongside Hagi, Dan Petrescu and other big names. He called me because he made a team of himself and he wanted me to train his team. I was astonished even if the team was in the 5th league. But then something made me unhappy. I am afraid I can't accept i said. I won't have where to stay because this team plays in Liga a V-a Dolj and this is one county far away from Bucharest, where my home is now. He said he understands me but he wants me to train his team and that's why he will buy me a house in that region, as close as posible to the stadium. I said I thank from my heart for his offer and I will do my best to get the team promoted ASAP.

Next day I was in a car on the way to Dolj, to meet my new chairman. On the way there, lots of thoughts ran through my mind. I was sure here I mustn't pay nothing to have that job. It was certainly the job of my dreams. I met Gica Popescu, who proved to be one of the kindest persons i've ever met. He bought me a house next to the "Hanul Doctorului" ( The Doctor's Inn) Stadium. I found out that the team's name was GP Craiova. How silly i was by not asking what the team name was. I was told all the players had professional contracts so they were 100% involved in the team's games and training. In a brief visit through the stadium I saw that there were average facilities and an Youth Academy made in the Hagi way. So I will rely a lot on youth players i sad myself. I went to bed because I was very tired from the infernal 8 hours itinerary from Bucharest to Dolj by car. Even if I didn't expected that I found out that I can sleep very well in a bed for rich people.
After I woke up I met the team. It was already July so I found out the team already played 6 friendly matches. They won one match, drew in 4 of them and lost one. All of the matches were played at home. The best player in the team was Doru Rus (http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/2524/sp3220100702103740.png), one young player from the club's academy. He had a very nice character but he was already in contract talks with Bari. They took him and paid GP Craiova a compensation of only 55.000 euro. I was sad because I knew one day he will be a big player having in mind he was already playing in the Romania U21 national team. The other players were confident and ambitious. They couldn't wait to play a friendly match with me on the bench and I was impressed by that. I decided to have a freindly with a foreign team. I chose Maladrerie Caen. The team was so excited about that match. We managed to beat them; 2-0. Alexandru Deaconu and Anton Popescu were the scorers. This friendly helped me to discover which players will play in the 1st eleven next season and what formation we are going to play. I decided to play a 4-1-1-2-2 that looks like this:

I found out from Gica Popescu that we have 4 loaned players. Two of them are playing for Jiul Petrosani ( Liga a III-a ), one at Minerul Lupeni ( Liga a III-a) and the last one plays for Gaz Metan CFR Craiova ( Liga a II-a).

One thing that worries me is that I don't have a competent DM. I contacted Vointa Lupac ( Liga a V-a ), and asked their manager about the servicies of Zlatko Lazarovici. He told us we don't need to pay anything for him and that we are free to talk to the player. I called the player and we reached an agreement. He was going to receive 120 € per week, an average salary for someone which lives in Romania. He is 26 years old, so he is quite an experienced player, which is good because he plays in a very important position in my formation. I wanted another players as a backup for this position but i couldn't find anyone. I am disappointed about this because in that place he will take a lot of yellow cards, and at every 2 cards he will be suspended one match ( very annoying rule ).
Here we are, at the start of the season. The first match will be in the "Cupa Ion Oblemenco". This cup is named so in the memory of a great player which was the goalgetter of the Romanian championship 4 times ( 1967, 1970, 1972, 1973). This great player made history for the Universitatea Craiova team. With him as a striker, Craiova reached the auarter finals of the European Cup. On 1st of september 1966 Oblemenco died because he was mad at an Moroccan reffere who had some controversial decisions referring to the Moroccan team he was training. He was only 51 years old. All these things went through my mind as I was heading towards my bench.
"Cupa Ion Oblemenco":Lupac - GP Craiova 1-1; 4-3 after penalties. Adrian Filipoaica ( 105'+1') for Lupac and Stefan Oprea ( 93') for me. I am very disappointed about this game because we could be in the next round if we were more focused. My objective was at least quarter finals, and Gica Popescu told me he wants at lest the 3rd round.

"Liga a V-a Dolj":Dabuleni - GP Craiova 0-1 Stefan Oprea ( 88') Oprea saved us with a late goal. I had my pulse raised by those last 10 minutes.
"Liga a V-a Dolj": GP Craiova - Chimia Craiova 2-2 Flavius Cotiga ( pen. 21), Stefan Oprea ( 40')/ Cristian Curea ( 70' ), Robert Duculescu ( 90'+2') The first 2 points lost for us. I think we deserved to win but it happens ! We must concentrate on the next games now.

Player of the month: Stefan Oprea.
This player is fantastic ! He managed to score 7 goals, being named 4th times Man Of The Match. He has an average rating of 8.39. Other players who deserve to be mentioned are: Ioana Manaila, the brain from the middle, with 11 assists; Anton Popescu, the goal scoring machine, having already scored 10 goals ub 7 games.
I am happy to be on the 1st place with 19 points and I am glad to have a goal difference of +26. The 2nd place team has 15 points. Only one thing makes me mad: only the 1st place is going to promote.

Chapter 3: The best month in my life
So, here we are at the start of October. I think I did well until now, excepting the defeat from the 1st round of the cup. My team has a very high morale, which is good. I hope they will manage to keep like this until the end of the season because I will enjoy to gain promotion from the 1st season, especially because I will be allowed to have 1 non-EU player in the 1st eleven. I keep thinking about the person I love. Everything I do, I do in her memory. Since I got here everything is working so fine. I am supervised by Gica Popescu, who knows how to do his job as a chiarman. Now I got some money. The girl I love is the daughter of a rich journalist. If I do well, maybe she'll come and interview me :wub:. This will be the best present for me if I'll manage to gain promotion. Here are my results from October:

After I secretly talked with the manager of Gaz Metan CFR Craiova, I am proud to announce a link between GP Craiova and Gaz Metan CFR Craiova. This link is ideal because the teams are basically from the same city. I am sure the players I will loan ( or buy ) from this team will really help the team starting from this season. They will not pay me nothing, because they didn't want :'(.
I turn on my new TV ( bought from my salary). I want to watch BBC because at this hour is the sport news. IT says about Luiz Felipe Scolari who is now training Bunyodkor Toshkent from Uzbekistan. I am really sad about hearing this thing about a wordclass manager. On TVR 1 ( the national channel of Romania ) it says about Ilie Balaci ( an ex Universitatea Craiova golden team member). He is training Kazma, a team from Kuwait. I don't think it's a good start for him. I'd rather start in Romania's lower leagues than going in Kuwait. I switched again to BBC. They say Luis Suarez is doing well at Real Madrid. He went there for a fee of 26M €. I was surprised to hear that my ex-player Doru Rus scored a goal for Bari and played all 90 minutes against AC Milan. I asked Gica Popescu about him and he said me Rus scored 6 goals in 14 apps.
I'll be very happy if you'll post what do ou want to be improved at my story, or give me advices on what players I should buy or anything else. Feel free to post any feedback because I'll really enjoy.
