My cellphone’s alarm clock ring, time’s up to read the newspaper, and it’s time to go to Den’s Park Stadium, Dundee, for my first day in managing a club.
The first press conference as a manager, bit nervous to be honest, but thanks God, I can answer all the question given, and I hope the answers are satisfying.
Whilst my players training, I – with help from my assistant Ray Farningham examine the strength and weaknesses of the players.
Too many central defender and lack of winger in this team is my first opinion about this team. Tomorrow, I wanna see how well this team and the reserve play.
My long-term aim is to bring Dundee to the UEFA Champions League. But for now, I aim to promote Dundee to Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League.

Dundee 1-1 Dundee Reserves
[Colin McMenamin 82’ ; Ross Grant 75’, Ben Etchels inj-15’]
A little disappointed with draw, but at least I have another strategy for this wingless team.
Two impressive youngsters from the reserve – Ross Grant and Gary Irons will be on my sight this season.

Good news! I directly send an email to PSSI, to apply for job as Indonesian national team manager. Soon, they accept my application, and consider it.

Jakarta – PSSI confirmed the appointment of Bijak Riyandi Ahadito as the new manager of Indonesian National Team. Bijak – currently managing Scottish first division club Dundee, will come to Jakarta tomorrow to meet the media....
Now, it’s really a dream come true!
The main aim is to qualify for Asian Cup 2011, and I also aimed to qualify for South Africa 2010 (or if failed, World Cup 2014). Indonesia’s last World Cup appearance was on 1938, and was under the name of Dutch East Indies on the time. I really want to end Indonesian drought of achievement and misery in the Asian Cup and the World Cup.
First thing to do is choosing the squad. In the middle of confuse, an e-mail came to my inbox one day, and it’s a link. I opened the link, and find there are so many players in the Netherlands and the other countries have Indonesian blood flowing in their arteries. This unknown guy really gives me an idea to call those guys up to the national team.
After filtering the players in the national pool, here is the 26-man squad:
GK: Markus Horison, Jandri Pitoy, Ferry Rotinsulu
DF: Charis Yulianto (C), Ricardo Salampessy, Mahyadi Panggabean, Maman Abdurrachman, Ferdinand Katipana*, Ian Kabes, Delano Hill*, Milan Berck Beelenkamp*, Muhammad Ridwan
MF: Levi Risamasu*, Dominggus Lim-Duan*, Ponaryo Astaman, Irfan Bachdim*, Syamsul Chaeruddin, Imanuel Wanggai, Jason Oost*, Usep Munandar, Eka Ramdani.
FW: Sergio van Dijk*, Jhon van Beukering*, Boaz Solossa, Bambang Pamungkas, Saktiawan Sinaga.
Those with asterisk are halfblooded-players.
I really want to call Radja Nainggolan to the National Team, but as he has capped for Belgium, so I can’t call him up.
