Can anyone help me sort my crossing for my strike partners?

Which is the best crossing for 2 strikers up front? I've set both of them to byline near post and crossing set to sometimes. I'm thinking this will make them drill crosses in front of net which hopefully the opposite striker or my AMC will flick into net.

But on the other hand, wouldn't it make more sense if I set the aim to the far post as my opposite striker will likely to be there? However floating the cross to the far post will give the opponents time to track back and head it away.

What is your view on this? How do you set your strikers' crossing (if you even do)?

In my opinion,if you have short and fast strikers(Defoe for example),then u should set it to near post, but if your strikers are tall and good headers(Crouch for example),i would go with the far post.

I don't like the crossing settings in the game.

"near post" means drill crosses
"far post" means float crosses

Why don't they just have a setting for what type of crosses AND a setting for where to place them?

I've got my two strikers to cross to near post and the rest of the players crossing to far. It's working okay so far, but haven't noticed too much of a difference from default settings.
