I'm Newcastle just started this save, I've not bought anyone as of yet but I'm trying to buy mainly English players. My main target is a striker though I'm not bothered about nationality for this position tbh, experience and quality are more preferred. Budget isn't a factor as I've been able to sell BenArfa (21m), Santon (12m) and Cisse (7m).

Any options would be of great help!!!

Ouch. On my Newcastle save, those three were the big hitters on the first year. I got Cisse to score 37 goals, Santon went to PSG for 28 million, and Ben Arfa won footballer of the year.

But, oh well, your save. You've got Remy on loan, with a to-buy clause of 6 million. Other than that, Volland is good, Carlos Vela does a good job. If you really want English, Lambert or Jay Rodriguez are both good options.

Remember you have Campbell in your youth team who becomes a beast if trained properly!

Other options... Jordan Rhodes, Jay Rodriguez and Charlie Austin are good choices IMO.

Campbell's PA took a hit in the latest patch, went from -9 to -8. Also, low ambition can hinder him. Plus, he's out on loan in the first season.

Charlie Austin is easily the most prolific English striker at the start of the game. Go buy him, trust me.

Players that I would recommend:

- Kevin Volland 12.75 buy-out clause (If he will talk to you)
- Jordan Rhodes
- Jay Rodriguez
- Timo Werner
- Javier Hernandez from Man United (If you can get him)
- Mitrovic (he's not as good in the 14.3 patch)
- Charlie Austin is awesome when used properly
- Yassine Benzia
- Carlos Fierro
- Gabriel Barbosa
- Luciano Vietto
- Neal Maupay
- Angelo Henriquez
- Paco Alcacer
- Hervin Ongenda

jordan rhodes is my fav pick (H)

also sturridge & welbeck if you like, play side to side :)

Michy Batshuayi has a pretty low release clause (I can't remember what it is, *****.) He's at Standard at the start of the game, and he's compared to Benteke, so I'd say he'd be a pretty good option.
