Haven't posted in a while so thought I would post this bad boy. Just a thread of the strikers who have passed through my club (Leeds) whilst I have been there. See who you think is any good and who i shouldn't of sold!
Denis Alibec: Had him for four seasons (Aged 17-21) after buying him for £40k in 2008/09. Scored 31 league goals in 104 games in League 1, Champ and EPL. Sold to Sporting Lisbon for £8.5m.
Van Der Zwan: Had him for two seasons (Aged 20/21) initially on loan before buying him for £110k in 2009/2010. Scored 19 in 63 for me in the Coca Cola Championship. Sold for £2.1m to Ipswich.
Robert Lewandowki: First "big" purchase I made after making it to the EPL. £12m. Played 37 and scored 9. Sold to Chelsea for £8.75 at the end of the season (didn't play once for them in two seasons).
Christian Benitez: Bought for £6.75m in the EPL (2012/13). Scored 9 in 42 (2 seasons) and was sold to Pompey for £5m.
John Fleck: Bought 2012/13 for £9.25m. Still playing for me. Scored 47 in 174.
Daniel Aquino: Bought 2013/14 for £10.25m. Still playing for me in 2018/19. Scored 70 in 171.
Alberto Paloschi: 2014/15 bought for £6.25m from Man Shitteh. Scored 27 in 57 (2 seasons) before being sold to Real Madrid for £30m (Man Shitteh also offered £30m).
Ricardo Dinis: 2017/18 bought for £4.8m. Regen, only 20 years old. Scored 13 league goals in 42 (He is a target man).
Mattia Destro: Bought for £15.25m in 2018/19. Has 5 in 9 so far.
Darren Taylor: Bought for £10m in 2018/19. Scored 4 in 4.
What do you think? and how can i get my strikers to perform better?
