So alittle about my tactic I made first to help make it clear, I made an attacking 532 for home and a standard 532 for away, the tactic seems to work really well, currently 2nd season in charge of Leeds after taking the job from my previous one (Ebsfleet, got them all the way to championship playoffs but im a real life leeds fan).

Now the problem is I have a really strong attacker that just cant seem to perform well no matter what role I play him (Santiago Flores), I am creating alot of chances during game (20-30 with 3-5 ccc's) but flores seems to be a long shot hungry monster and misses everytime, he has even scored just one freekick in two seasons with them stats, recently I had a striker injury crisis (my world class potential 16 year old + flores + another 4.5 star potential striker were all out injured so I had my regular striker playing flores complete forward role along with a low potential player I wasn't going to extend contract come end of season and he seemed to start banging them in >>).

I will post my home one (I'v had it set to complete forward support+poacher attack most of season, just changed roles 2 games ago to see if it made a difference):

Now my two first choice strikers (most of his assists are corners):

my homegrown reg I was going to release at end of season:

And finally my main playmaker when he isnt injured, world class potential:

Please help me get more out of my overrated strikers.....

I'm not the best with tactics, however try putting work ball into box on or in player instructions tick shoot less often.

The right-footed Siniscalchi is on the right of your front two which is good and very important for an Advanced Forward. I have come to believe from watching my own AFs in Comprehensive Match mode that SI have taken range-of-motion into consideration when deciding how accurate right footers will be when shooting from the right and vice versa.

You have Flores operating as a Deep-Lying Forward with Teixeira the Advanced Playmaker just behind him in the No.10 role. I play a similar system to you (a 3-5-2 with a flat midfield five). Is Teixeira a good dribbler, creative and fast? If so, I'd encourage you to put him into the M(C) position between those other two midfielders - still as an Advanced Playmaker_Attack - so that he can pick the ball up in deeper positions where there are fewer opposition defensive players and then run at them with your forwards and wing-backs providing angles for the pass or space for him to go it alone. He'll be more difficult to tackle and will draw more fouls for free-kicks in dangerous areas, when not playing killer through balls or scoring himself.

Try Flores as a False-9. He's reasonably creative and good off-the-ball so should be able to link well with Siniscalchi and Teixeira, and being right-footed, operating on the left of the front two will suit his long-range shooting ability - expect plenty of shots from in and around the D. I have two left-footers working like this together and they've been brilliant.

I agree with Igneos79 about the Team Instructions and I have read his post; he's right.

aha ty for the replies, been a little busy trying out different stuff but thought I would keep you updated, I'm currently trying complete forward x2 with one of them acting as support, tried it with the original strikers and wasn't very consistent but since then replaced the italian with a french wonderkid (Hernandez) I had injured before, so far so good, this season flores has 9 apps 7 goals as support, Hernandez has 11 apps 7 goals.

I'm thinking maybe some strike partnerships never work no mater what roles they are assigned, shame really as my other striker recently got his first cap for italy and since then he is 7 goals in 9 internationals since his italy debut at age 29, but this season he has around 4 apps and 6 sub apps (60-70 minute I usually wait to sub a striker) in the league...
