Strikers stop banging in goals

Hi,

I'm new to the forum but have been playing CM/FM since 1998 on and off. This is my first post here.

I'm on my 3rd season with Man Utd (easiest team to manage for newbies). I have 4 main strikers, Rooney, Hernandez, Sigporsson and Macheda. Rooney (35 goals previous season) and Hernandez (43 goals previous season) has stopped banging in goals since the start of the new season.

Through the match highlights it is obvious that they are missing clear cut chances, any ideas how to make them not missing all these chances? I am close to christmas on the current season by the way.

hehehe, i always play man utd everytime i start a new FM. i'll play around 3 seasons before i try playing other team like leeds, or west ham. a bit of a warm up one might say

should i put shooting at a high for my strikers on their training schedule? oh yeah, changing tactics does work a little bit, but only lasted for a few games.

I think they're just in a slump. Chuck them in the reserves and have a private chat about their form. They'll return back to normal after a few games stewing in the reserves.
