I'm managing Spurs and have some good players in my team (Tevez, Balotelli, Defoe, Van der Vaart, Modric, Krancjar, Lennon, George Costa etc.), but I really struggle to get the best out of them. I've read many threads and hear so many people saying I've got so and so and he get's me 50 goals and 30 assists a season. I'm in my 4th season, VDV was poor in my first season, I didn't even register him for the 2nd half of the season. But then I gave him another go the next season and he was great, but since then he has been mostly disappointing. It's the same with most of them. Defoe scored 40 goals for me in my 2nd season, but isn't as consistant as I would like him to be. Balotelli is scoring a lot of goals for me so I'm happy with him. Tevez has been pretty disappointing this season, but he has just started finding his form again.
Does anyone else have a similar problem? Is there a trick to getting consistantly good performances out of these guys, or is just part of the game?
