Didn't use shouts much on FM13, and am losing a bunch of away games - "Control" tactics not really working, and don't feel like I've got an effective counter-attacking set-up.
Playing as Spurs, mostly using a 4-1(DM)-2-2(IFs)-1. Feel like I definitely need the DM in there for away games as I've been conceding way too many goals to through balls from the opponents AMC area with 4-2-3-1. Usually have the CMs as BBMs & APs (which worked beautifully on FM13), but Eriksen isn't that great in this deeper position, so have been experimenting with BBMs & BWMs combo, thinking maybe an AP isn't necessary for counter strategy...?
Anyway, mostly I've been using a combination of: Drop Deeper - Exploit the flanks - Pass into Space - Higher Tempo - Run at Defence. Seems logical to me, but isn't really leading to any chances at all at the moment. Suggestions, please...?
