i used the lower league dwonload and took charge of studley afc (the bees)
the only thing i added in the database was an assistant who could jusge player ability
(does my head in when you get dodgy reports)
anyway - i do use the scout, especially managing down there in midland football alliance.
so, promotion 1st, promotion 1st, promotion 1st, promotion 1st,
now in blue square premier, not signed a player for cash, never have any money !
finished top of the league with 121 points, still no big deal - we can all do this, however,
I have reached the FA-Cup final with a part-time team !
I swear on my dogs life (dillon) i only replayed 1 match against qpr who were in the championship.
I got three injuries within 10 minutes and two sendings off, so restarted that game and then won.
In the semi, I got newcastle.
Went 1 nill up with a penalty and my penalty taker always misses !
disaster - a 95th minuted penalty conceeded and its 1-1.
I **** myself !
got through extra time and won the penalty shoot out.
Told the missus, she didn't care!!
So, I have the FA-Cup final against Stoke, It has raised my bank balance to 4m although i can only pay part-time wage of £750 per week !
Shame, that stoke havn't qualified for europe !
i do believe the tactics i use are pretty good; it is a 3-3-3-1, you all push up and attack as a team, see pic
