I feel like I have nailed the rest and rotation side of squad management pretty well bit now I have this question about substitutions. In real life ofcourse substitutes play a big part, resting players, changing the dynamic of the team, changing formations etc. One thing I have been wondering is substituting one goalscorer for another in search of goals. I generally now tend to trust my goalscorers. When, if ever, would it be a good idea to sub off my leading goalscorer for a different striker off the bench? Ofcourse if I havebrested let's say, Haaland and need a goal in the final half an hour I bring him on but should I do it the other way around or just trust Haaland/whoever to come up with the goods?
