sugardaddy EDT file question

Hi there, I was bored and tried editing the sugardaddy.edt file to see what would happen if I added a front end sugardaddy to a bunch of lower league clubs but it didn't seem to have any effect when I started up a new game.

I copied the examples in the existing file (replacing Chelsea and Man City with various League 1 and 2 sides) and made sure the file was ticked in preferences but it didn't seem to have any effect when I started a new game. I even let it go through a season but I don't think it worked. Man City were still splashing the cash even though I removed their name also.

I tried using the FMRTE but the db version is out of sync apparently.

Am I doing something wrong?

Maybe the chairmen have to be a certain level to be able to pump money into the clubs?

I never use the EDT file. FMRTE works fine with me. There are 3 types.. Underwriter..Background...& Foreground. Be sure to select the right type to see an effect

Yeah I was going to try FMRTE when it wasn't working but the database was out of sync which apparently is due to steam updates so I can't use FMRTE.
