Sunderland: 'Lets Mackem a Top 4 Team' - A Max King Inspired Story

After reading Max's extremely successful Sunderland story (prem champions after 2nd season), I decided to take up the reigns as gaffer at the Black Cats myself.
Sunderland are a team that I always seem to enjoy managing on every FM I've gotten and is the only team I feel properly into on FM nowadays.
Before starting the story I've gotten through the transfer window and signed a good CM in Scott Brown and let Roy O'Donovan and David Healy go. I'm playing a 3-5-2 formation so that I can have Lorik Cana playing at his best in his favoured DM position. I'm thinking of snapping up a contract for David Beckham so that I can sign him on Jan 1st 2010.

Opening Day: Sunderland 3-2 Aston Villa

I was pretty satisfied with the teams overall performance after beating the odds and winning against a distinctly average Villa side. Darren Bent got 2 goals to go with a Richard Dunne OG. Bent also got the MOM after getting a rating of 8.90. This result sent us up to 4th after the opening weekend, but our next fixture is against Chelsea, so the lads need to ready themselves for a rough game.

 
I have also started as Sunderland after reading Max's story and i really want to try win the league in the 2nd season like he did

ohh, I'll admit, I have done a few stories up to now but I think I'm going to stick to this one, just to out do Max ;)

Well....You can try its going to be hard to win the league in the second season.

Like i said good luck we will both need it to do better then Max
 
Good luck Harry, and also to you aswell Danny :P Its not easy by any means but with a lot of luck and a big goalscorer it's possible. :)

Liking the "Max King Inspired Story" bit ;)

Just sell Reid Campbell and Malbranque second season mate gets you a nice cool 40 million apparently

Apparently Danny got half way through the 1st season and he was in 3rd and his game crashed or something XD
