i am sunderland in my 1st season and doing ok i play
gordon
demel turner mensah pinto
cana
cattermole krivets
thiago neves
kurnayi (loan) campbell
i am not scoring enough goal when i have the chance can anyone suggest anything i play kuranyi as deep playing forward and campbel as a poacher please suggest something

Your not scoring enough goals because your strikers are not good enough, i recommend buying a new forward mate, maybe acquafresc,a you can get him for around £3m, scored 20 plus goals for me in my sunderland season.

Dzeko for Max got 43 in 47 for Sunderland (as he has said several times if I remember well)

Use Kuranyi as a Target Man(Support), and Campbell as Complete/Advanced Forward, and set cross aim to Target Man. Use Kuranyi's aerial ability to get the ball down to campbell.

Acquafresca - Complete or Advanced Forward, simple enough

You have an aging squad. Getrid of the old players, bring in some fresh blood.

Got in there before me Stuart. XD Have a look at Milevskyi and Kerzhakov for the Mackems.

last summer i brought only young players and most of the older players are out.Riquelme for 1 season free transfer and the goalkeeper is old the other first team players are between 19-25 about 5-6 players

Well, a few of your players are underperforming. Change formation, style of play. You will find a correct medium. Try a 4-4-2 simple and effective.

You don't want to be complicated in the Championship. As Stuart said, simple is better and if you play simple football you will soon find yourself in the play-offs. :)

I am currently in the Championship with Newcastle, and the key is consistency. Get a side playing well, and dont change it too much. I will post my formations that I am using, give them a try.

Also, Chris, it seems we are reading each others minds, suppose its the Magpies...:D

Or, if you need any help, you could try the 'What Tactic Should I Use?' thread. Type it into the search section.

**** it chris, I was just going to say that!

Try this, doing wonders for me -

Set in-game instructions as Retain Possession, Pass into space, and work ball into box.
