emocfinger, you must overwrite the original files in your installation folder. The path is C:\Program files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\Data\sigfx\meshes\ball

so once iv put the files into C:\Program files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\Data\sigfx\meshes\ball...do i delete all the old stuff?

tiraths, only overwrite the two original files and you can play with the new ball in the 3D mode.

i think i did something very wrong...because my FM stopped working and had 2 do a full uninstall etc
