Just started a Swansea save on latest LFC Update(23.1.15)

Budget £15.75m and £53k in wages.

Players needed-

Striker- Bony is now at City so i have Gomis and Oliveira do i need a better striker?
DM/CM- I need an 1 or 2 DM/MC to play Anchor Man or the BWM role because Swansea don't have any.
Winger- I need 2 Wingers Swansea dont have much depth in that area.

if you think i need to strengthen in any other areas you're more than welcome to suggest players. Thanks.

I've toyed around with Swansea plenty, though I haven't gone too far with a game. Bony being gone tempers my interst in them a bit, even with more money to spend. They don't have a lot of overt weaknesses, though it depends on your formation. I typically look to upgrade at one fullback spot and add depth players with potential elsewhere. Some nice options will be gone due to the transfer updates, such as Lewis Macleod, Joshua Kimmich, etc.

Gomis is a pretty solid Prem-level strilker. Oliveira is also pretty solid. Getting a striker that is clearly better than both is gonna be pricey and soak up most of your money. You can spend a chunk of it on a guy who will develop into a better striker. Carlos Torres, Cauley Woodrow, Carlos Strandberg.... Sebastian Giovinco is an interesting option but I doubt he will wnat to come to Swansea. Wilson from United on loan could be an option. For the most part, just don't expect guys who will take the Prem by storm in the first season.

For DM/CM, the options are many. Obvious ones like Lucas Romero, Gaston Gil Romero, and the like. They will eat up a chunk of your transfer budget, but are capable of starting at the Prem level. Will Hughes, Deli Alli, Simon Gustafson, Adam Vass, Pavelka,
Kris Ajer, John Hou Saeter, Lundermo, so many more. Really depends on what kind of player you want - versatile, specialist, etc - and whether you want a prospect or a ready-made player who won't grow much more. You do have a couple of MC prospects in the reserves.

Winger depth is definitely a weaker area for the side. Nice thing about wingers is that there are plenty of forwards who can be used there to great effect if you run them as inside forwards. That opens up the options, but it depends on what you want out of them. Just a few to look at: Pavel Savitskiy, Adema Traore (on loan), Pione Sisto, Patrick Roberts (really nice option), Ould-Chihk... The club starts with 3 solid wingers so trying to spend all your money on one "instant impact" player isn't necessary.

Loads of great suggestions in teh last few pages of Uncle Mad's....

Dorin rotariu and pablo sarabia are good cheap options for wingers

Im thinking of 4-5-1 for main tactic and 4-2-3-1 back up i want a BWM like a M.Diame or C.Tiote for like under £4m and ill get Pavelka (Hopefully) as roation. Naughton is at Swansea now so maybe a young LB to rotate with Taylor would be good. Wingers are the problem tho, Do you think Gylfi could do good as an IF?

He might be okay as a wide playmaker or Raumdeuter but I don't expect he would be super effective as an inside forward. He might not suck but it wouldn't really play to his strengths.

I have had an offer of £4m accepted for Stefan Reinartz CB/DM/MC looks like will be a good signing im trying to sign Pavelka aswell. I see people saying Adam Vass is good but ive got a few scout reports on him but hes only 2 stars should i sign him? Wingers suggestions would help tho.

Striker- Duvan Zapata. He is like Bony. Or Munir El Haddadi. But Munir is 12.5m €. Expensive for you.
DM- Alexander Milosevic
Winger- Pavel Savitsiky. I don't like him but he is really good winger and very cheap. Or Adama Traore. He is 3.2m €.
CM- Emre Can (on loan), Bismark Adjei-Boateng, Saleh Gomaa

I examined some player. You can look these.

Milosevic- Alexander Milosevic | 22 | D(M) - Savunma Oyuncuları - FMTürkiye.Net - Türkiye'nin Football Manager Platformu
Zapata- Duván Zapata | 23 | ST - Hücum Oyuncuları - FMTürkiye.Net - Türkiye'nin Football Manager Platformu
Gomaa- Saleh Gomaa | 20 | OS(M) / OOS(M) - Ortasaha Oyuncuları - FMTürkiye.Net - Türkiye'nin Football Manager Platformu

I would look at Stevanovic on a free and I would have thought you could bring in Zivkovic pretty cheap. Then Vallejo is very capable of playing DM and his buyout clause is ridiculous he becomes simply brilliant!

Not played as Swansea but I have had Thomas Carroll on a few saves and he has always come good for me so could recall him from loan if possible. I like Redmond and Jesse Lingard on my saves too, tend to loan Lingard first season then buy second and he rockets in value. Depends what philosophies you want to manage by, I like bringing in the young players and nurturing them.
