I've noticed that there is only 2 or 3 stories on swansea city :'( So i decide to make my own story and write the swans into the history books :D In my first season i want to gain promotion (easy) ;) and in the next three season's champions leauge football. The story will show the story of a local boy managing his local club.

Swansea City SHOCK !

Swansea City today confirmed that Paulo Sousa has left the club, dramaticlly only just after he agreed to join the swansea city management. Only after a day of signing a contract, Huw Jenkins is throwing it in the bin. Speculation says that Paulo was not happy with the transfer budget and issued an ultimatum. Paulo confirmed he was leaving Swansea but did not give a reason why. Players at the club said that they are shocked at how quick Paulo was sacked. Only after a hour of sacking Paulo, Huw Jenkins was seen entering the Liberty stadium with a man, speculation suggested that it may Joe Kinnear, Paco Herrera or Chris Coleman. But a double shock as Swansea had announced that the new manager is local boy Dave Head, the unknown manager who has got a diploma in sport coaching has been installed as manager with immediate effect.

In a statement the new Swansea boss said : It's a dream come true to manage Swansea, since i was a young lad i was dreaming of managing Swansea and at this moment in time, i'm pinching myself. I was watching sky sports when they announced Paulo Sousa was the manager, i thought it was a decent appointment but then i had a call from a person claiming that they were Huw Jenkins, he said that, Paulo had been sacked and that he wanted me a manager. To be honest i thought it was a joke at first but when rumours were spreading on the internet and tv, i rushed down the stadium to take up the opportunity.

When asked how he will approach the game he said : All i ask from my players is that they are a 100 percent committed to me and Swansea. i intend to keep the 4-5-1 formation that Swansea use very well. All my players will be encouraged to play with the ball and show their creative freedomon on the pitch. My training will push the players to their limits, there may be some moans and groans but it's all in the name of fitness.

When asked on the club's budget which Paulo was unhappy with he said : I'm happy with the budget that Huw has given me, i believe there are a couple of bargin players in the game, i won't name names but i got my idea's for signings who's prices are all below the transfer budget.

Transfer Rumours

After 5 days in charge, it has been believed that the new swansea boss has made around 12 bids for players, this suggests Head is not satisfied with the current players or is worried by the depth of the squad. By bidding for the high amount of players it has been suggested that current members of the squad may be leaving the squad.

When we asked Dave Head about the rumour he said he could not give away any of his transfer targets, it seems he is playing his cards close to his chest at the moment.

I will follow have a soft spot for the swans and was thinking my next story would be with them!

Pre-Season

Swansea 2-2 ADO Den Haag

Swansea 3-0 Kidderminster

Swansea 2-0 Östersunds FK

Swansea 3-0 Neath

Swansea 2-0 Port Talbot

Swansra 1-1 Benfica

Well pre-season i'm very happy with, it's an unbeaten start to my Swansea career. I hope i can continue this form in the leauge ;). I was expecially happy with the draw with Benfica considering we missed a penality and they scored in the 80 minute.

Transfers

Overall i have signed 8 players and have sold 10 players

Signed :
Ross Wallace - 875K
Marlon Harewood - Loan
Ivaylo Petkov - 90K
John Fleck - Loan
Chris Basham - Loan
Ritchie De Laet - Loan
Índio - 300K
Gastón Fernández - Free

Sold :
Chad Bond - 75K
Guillem Bauzá - 70K
Thomas Bulter - 60K
Andrea Orlandi - 300K
Gorka Pintado - 200K
Jordi López - Loan(with option to buy)
Federico Bessone - 80K
Garry Monk - 230K
Mark Gower - 300K
Albert Serrán - 375K

The signings that i'm must happy with are Gastón Fernández and Ross Wallace, Gastón is a brilliant player to get on a free transfer, he has amazing pace and is a great finisher. Ross Wallace is one of the best wingers in the championship i believe, he has the skill and the vision to beat players, but some Swans fans didn't share my views, they declared he was a waste of money, I've told Ross to do his talking on the pitch and win over the fans.

Tomorrow is the first game in the leauge against Leicester City, they have just been promoted and could be a suprise package. The moral is high considering we lost none of the games during pre-season and drew with Benfica. We'll just have to wait and see tomorrow.
