I have tried to figure out what the swap positions functions does EXACTLY mean.
Lets sa that i play with 2 central attaking midfielders, one on the support role and the other one on attack. The standard attack is played when the attacking midfielder runs into the box, while the support midfielder stays out. I WANT the swap position function in this situation to be like this:
If the AMC (support) gets a good chance to run into the box, he does it, and when he does then the AMC (attack) tracks back to take the role of the support AMC instead

Is my statemant right?

Hope you understand what i am trying to say :)

no thats not how it works (I think)

basicaly every 5 or so minutes the two players just swap positions
e.g. i you were playing lampard and gerrard for england and you had 1 as box to box and the other as advanced playmaker then if you started with gerrard as the box to box but put swap positions, lampard then after about 5 minutes gerrard would then be advanced playmaker and lampard would be box to box

or if you were playing ashley young and walcott on the wings if you started with young on the left and walcott on the right but you put them as swap positions then after 5 minutes ish young would be on the right and walcott on the left then 5 minutes later they would be back to how they started and would carry on swapping throughout the match
