Sweeper/Libero - A dead position?

I understand for the most part in modern football, the sweeper/libero is dead... but is there a use for it in FM?

I've always wanted a tactic with a marauding libero screaming up the field out of the defense, but I just can't ever seem to get it to operate like I could in FM13, presumably because of the removal of the tactical sliders.

Has anyone had success with a sweeper/libero tactic?

I used to use them a fair bit in 13, still go on it every so often just to enjoy my Napoli 532.

go with stopper cover route, but instead of cover, use sweeper...

Thanks for that link. It got me experimenting with just a single CB and the other CB playing as a sweeper on the back line and it's worked out pretty well. You still need a DM for cover over that hole, but overall I've liked how it's turned out.
