I have recently aquired the services of a winger and noticed in passing (well analysing me team deeply) that both my wingers are now am rl.

Just a question, is there any noticeable advantage in having my wingers switch position? I play a middle the slider mentality game with the emphasis on getting crosses into my centre forwards.

Press conferences tend to focus more on Super Shaun Harrad as hes my "droppy deeper" forward with a slovakian u21 international as the 8 goals in 13 games wonder strike partner.

I swap the two strikers all the time (it seems to help them) but have never tried it with wingers.

its harder for there full backs to mark them

Thanks.. I kind of get that, more specifically is there a downside to doing it? will they be out of position more often etc? If one has good decisions and one bad do i just set that guy to swap with the "lesser" if you see what i mean?

As im winning at present will it confuse the players is my concern i suppose... I guess i can keep it till the AI starts trying to stifle my wingers

im not too sure about that im sure u should be fine wat team r u m8

Burton Albion in 4th season now :) mid table in CC 2 and looking like we might worry a couple in the playoff spots :)

one of the downsides is that your wingers will probably get tired faster, and if they don't have the workrate, they may not get to the other side in due time.

Ah cool thanks :) ill keep it till i need to change something i think

One problem with it is that when you sub one of them by a one side AM, if the change is done after they swap, you may end with the new AM playing in the wrong side, so you have to check.

Aye i know that from swapping my forwards... when you put a centre back on to cover a sending off and he swaps with the CF lmao

I believe that their marking and defensive functions will be less efective.

In player instructions, in the listbox section below the sliders and above the tick boxes there's one listbox titled "swap position with:"

Got it... but do I swap just one player or do both? e.g. Gerrard to swap positions with Torres or do I need to swap Torres with Gerrard as well?

One is enough for what I know, even if the once I used it I did to both. So you can make a cycle of swapping players.
