Arsenal pair Wojciech Szczesny and Johan Djourou look set to face Liverpool on Sunday having returned to full training after injury.

Didn't think they'd be back this early, a very nice boost - but probably too late.

AND Vermaelen is back in training with the Reserves (but won't be back with First XI)..

Happy days at last!

Epic news !

Djourou was initially expected to miss the rest of the season but his shoulder complaint is not as bad as first feared and he could start after three games out.
Arsenal have not lost a league game with him in the team since a 3-0 defeat at Manchester City on 22 November 2008.

Looks good :)

Looks like the swiss doctors were right :P Either that or it was some sort 'strategy' by Wenger that went wrong :P

Vermaelen shouldnt play again this season, its not worth it with repeated achilles injuries

No he won't be back but will play for the Reserves in "behind closed-doors friendlies" according to BBC sources.

In the 1276 minutes Djourou has played, we have conceded just 4 goals. Him back is a massive boost for any chance we have at the title. And of course having Szczesny back is just a big.

An Song might play, there is a chance he will have injections to get him through the game.

Injections though are risky, with obvious potential consequences. Wouldn't risk with injections.

Djourou has been a rock when played this season. Possibly the second best centre back behind Vidic this season imo. Great to have him back.
