Tactic For New Guy

I have literally just bought my first FM Game this week (2011).
I have decided to use Reading FC. I have searched tips for numerous Tactics but cannot find any that are helpful. I currently sit at 18th in the league with only 15 point from 13 games.
Can anyone help me?

I Use the 4-4-2 and have bought better defenders and loaned many players but I get an injury every game. I just need some advice!

I would recommend looking through this forum for the threads with the most replies, as they're probably the best. Personally I would recommend anything by TheBetterHalf.

Kofloks Goals Galore 2010 is the formation am I swear by this year.
I'm currently doing some extra testing for him (I'm made one MC an AMC) so I'll let you know how that works out.
