Just been promoted to the Premier League with Palace in my third season, and I am struggling to get results. I have tried using GoalsGalore2010v9 and many of the total domination tactics, but none seem to work, and I am guessing this is because my squad is not good enough for this league, which it isn't.

So do I stick with the goals galore/total domination tactics in the hope they work or is there a tactic where you concede minimal goals and attack on the break against the big teams, but can compete against the Wigans, Sunderlands, Wolves' etc.

try my tactic out, look for "iota's 4-3-1-2" in the tactic's download section, i used it with Maidenhead United who were a mid-to-low BSS team and i am 1st in the BSS and awaiting promotion. ^^

My answer would depend on your defenition of tactics. Is ita tactic file or a tactical approach ?.If you are looking for a single tactic, I will be able to provide you with one that suits your team. Just post a screen of your team in the appropriate stickie..

If you on the other hand are looking for indepth hints about how to develop a tactic on your own that you are able to tweak by using shouts - all depeing on what team you are facing - then I suggest that you add some more information about your generall preferences

I just want a tactic that would help, as in a formation that is difficult to break down but also scores goals.

What do you want screenshots of?

As you want a complete tactic( as in tactic file), then post a screen of your team (and perhaps some screens of any regens ) in the thread I provided a link to and I will give my thoughts on it there

Generally, tactics for underdogs revolve around packing the midfield, sticking a target man upfront and getting him to hold it up for runners from midfield. Try a rigid, counterattacking 4-1-4-1, playing a direct passing style, less expressive creativity and a deep defensive line.
