I would really appreciate some help in creating a tactic for my team.
Playing as Harrogate Town, I was appointed manager mid-way through first season when they where just outside playoffs and managed to win the league.
For that season I was playing a basic 4-4-2, Balanced and either Counter or Control with following roles.
Goalkeeper - Distribute to defenders
Full Back L&R - Support - Run wide with ball
Limited Defender - Stopper
Limited Defender - Cover
Wide Midfielder L&R - Attack - Stay Wider, Cross Aim Targetman,
Ball Winning Midfielder - Defend - Mark Tighter
Box To Box Midfielder - Support - Get Further Forward
Target Man - Support - Hold Position
Advanced Forward - Move into channels
The tactic worked quite well obviously as I managed to win the league, however I very rarely scored more than 1/2 per game. Also my defending at times was horrendous, so any help on that part would be extremely appreciated.
