Tactic needed for Chelsea

Hi there i am a very loyal supporter of both Chelsea and Football Manager 09. My problem is that I have never had any real succes with chelsea on FM. So this is where u guys come in. Im about to start a new game with Chels with 9.3.0 patch as watching chelsea this morn...im in australia...gave me the insipration to take them to success.

I was wondering if u guys can pin point me to a tactic which is great with Chelsea. I dont care if it one striker or two or three as i reckon i shoudl be able to find the money to buy players in as most FM games i do. Also please pin point some players to buy and sell to genetrate these funds..My aims are to take them to every possible trophy...so that include uefa super cu[ and world club champs so an excellent tactic will be nice...I dont care if the tactic is one of your own made ones or someone elses...jsut consistent and successful..

Also is it worth keeping Anelka, J Cole, Carvalho, Alex, Malouda, Kalou and Ballack? or am i better off selling them off for better cheaper and youngetr players? if so who and how much? I heard u can get a fair amount for these guys...

By the way I have already checked other threads and I havnt found any real sloutions.

Thx please get back to me asap as i would lve to get this save under way.

Sell Anelka, Alex, Malouda at least, Carvalho is nice to have along Terry. Kalou can get pretty good if you use him right, Joe Cole has always been good for me as well.

I suggest buying some young talents rather than splurging on a big star or two, as you don`t get as much transfer money with Chelsea in 9.3.0 compared to earlier patches.

I like using the "4-3-3 new" formation with quick tempo and direct passing down both flanks, and Drogba is good as a target man.
 
should do it on the 9.1 patch tht is wht i am bout 2 do
then u still have wayne bridge and can get rafael carioca for 3m

tactics either 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1
sign zhirkov for the left and fleck
 
a good tactic to use is 4-3-1-2 however you will have to adjust the player and team instructions. also some good young players to have are thiago silva (CB) will come good and bojan (st) . have you tried any of the superior tactics before for example target man etc?

The "4-3-3 new" is that 1 ST with AML and AMR? or 3 Sts? and were will i be avble to find it?

With the 4-2-3-1 is it 2 CMs with AML, AMR, AMC and St or narrow AMCs?

With the 4-3-1-2 is that 3 CMs one AMC and two St?

im doin this game on 9.3 so make sure they are consistent excellent tactics for chelsea on 9.3.

R u guys able to post the link of where u found the tactic or upload it if created by yourself?

im afraid i havnt created it yet but giv me an hour or so than i will. the tactic i suggested is good if you have a strong midfield and a good attacking midfielder which chelsea has deco. if it was me i would play lampard essien ballck and deco in attackin mid as he will feed balls through to drogba all day. btw get bojan whatever the circumstances he and drogba will pe perfect.....
 
ok thanks Pitman umm any ideas on who to sell? i was thinking of Ballack and a few others as u can see in 1st post and im guessing that tactic doesnt use wingers jsut 3 CMs and 1 AMC?
 
ye it does so sell malouda and kalou and ballack if you wish and get bojan moutinho and rossi if your after young players who will be good in the future these are a few kaldec marquinos ,asenjo
di maria, fleck , davide santon and i almost forgot ballotelli will no doubt be a star in the future. have you had succes with any young players before?
 
Success with young players no not really more so called established players like umm Di Maria, Srna u know the likes. So this tactic you created yourself? i wont be able to find it on the net?
 
no i created it myself i just tried out all different team instructions and came accros the don. lol but definatley go for balotelli i have just looked on one my old seasons and he is worth 36.5 mill in the 3rd season he is quality put it this way **** turn in to an ibrahimovic no doubt
 
i appreciate football any teams any player just not leeds and gerrard ***** that sound intresting m8 ill have to check it out nice 1....
