I always have problem in playing against Arsenal. Actually, i always lose. They play with 4-2-3-1 formation. Their AM is fast, and their MC with Fabregas and Hamsik.
I am playing MANU with Eden Harzard, Nuri sahin.
Anybody can have me to win them ????

Beats me aswell, I always find arsenal are designed to be OTT and that at a drop of a hat they can score. 3-0 up would worry me.

Im working on a tactic ATM (soon to be upload for beta testers) which has seen me in my first 15 games (8 in the league 7 pre season) go unbeaten.

4-2 up against arsenal, 72minutes gone and i started putting my more cautious routine into play (dropping tempo, width and defensive line) yet they just cut me open whenever they want and draw 4-4.

Next game I spank Chelsea 3-0.

Go figure ?

tactic playing against man u

serves u right m8, pick a smaller team then give it a go, don't always pick the biggest team which u think will flatten opponents, arseholes will prob always beat utd wannabees who want to beat every1, build a smaller team up accept what defeats u get and build on it son

Stick a defensive mid in a use him to man Mark their attacking mid. Close their centre mids down, stop them playing. Tick counter attacks arsenal probably play a high line so use a fast striker and bobs your tea pot.

I agree with Shane:

Flood the midfield if you go 2 or 3 up. Keep up the tempo, make them really work for their chances, and play a counter style with the counter attack box ticked.

I'd look to real life for this answer. You have 2 sides to this, Barcelona just outplay(ish) Arsenal, so over a few seasons with a similar team each year you will grow the bonds and understanding between your players, a bit like what Wenger instils in his Arsenal team.

On the other hand you have teams that played the opposite, they slow the game down, pass the ball around deep, tire Arsenal and annoy them, effectively sucking the game out of them, then at periods where they concede a lot hit them with an intensive period. I have a save game running where I am Leeds, in 4th season, 2nd in Prem and I decided to try something new against Arsenal, I had 1 Attacking mentality player (AM) and 2 Defensive (CBs) the rest on support, short passing with an equally divided mix of stand off and pressing. The 5 minutes at the start and the end of each half I changed the formation (from 5-3-1-1 to 3-4-1-2) and team mentality from contain to counter...

The result, for the 1st time in 4 seasons, on our 6th meeting Leeds won 4-1 away. Glorious feeling.

Then I got cockey for the home game, didn't use the above and lost 3-0, thus sending me into a 3 month free-fall. :(

4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond or 4-3-1-2 if you have a good AMC

you will have one man free at the back (your back 4 vs there AMR/AML/ST), and no one will mark your AMC (one man advantage in the central part of the field with your 2 MC's and DM mirroring there CM's and AMC), there's a possibilety you will get overrun in wide areas thought if this arsenal side have good attacking wingbacks, but id rather leave advantage to them there then in the center

how it could work out in practice, and indeed, it was my substitute on AMC that found space and scored the wining goal:
