Tactic too advanced for lower division players?

Sometimes if i use too advanced tactics in smaller clubs they seem to not work at all even though it has worked with better clubs. Should the tactic be simpler with smaller clubs or is it just me that have this problem?

Simple tactics tend to work best for lower division clubs.

It is where the game has become more realistic. In real life you could expect a team like Southend to play the same style of football as Barca. Each team you manage you have to build your tactic around your squads strengths. If you have fast players play counter football. If you have strong physical players its best to play direct target man football etc.
