Hi, basically i've just started a season with Liverpool, just playing a few friendlies, i'm looking to perfect the 4-2-3-1 formation, just a quick question about the full backs, do you think its best to have them set to defend? or support? or attack? i'm thinking defend due to there not being alot of cover in front of them, would love to hear peoples feedback on this.

You could allow Johnson/Kelly to play a more attacking role if you're going to play Kuyt on the right wing mainly because of Kuyt's work rate. Who do you plan to play at left back?

I would set them to support, so that they can support your wingers, but I think it depends on the oppositions team, how you should use your fullbacks. Against stronger teams I recommend you to set them to defend

wilson is best a centre back and will develop into one of the best centre backs

i'd advise you in investing in a new lb tbh
